Experts from diverse fields in Japan and Germany will gather to discuss Japan's unique innovations in decarbonization and digitalization for a sustainable future.
We will have a range of experts for the lectures and panel sessions: Ken Sakamura, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, INIAD, Toyo University and an honored professor of the University of Tokyo; Toshiyuki Moriuchi, a professional Japanese “Shogi” chess player with the title of Eternal Master; and experts from several technology companies. Also, we will have demonstrations and panel discussions from startups and established companies.

Experts from several fields will present state-of-the-art approaches to Decarbonization and Digitalization and provide a deep-dive discussion on multiple topics.

How is human society expected to interact with and utilize this technology?
We will introduce unique use cases in Japan, such as AI applications in Japanese “Shogi” chess and robotics, which offer solutions to a variety of social issues such as labor shortage. Experts from differing fields will provide in-depth discussion of these topics.
How can we accelerate our decarbonization initiatives to achieve a sustainable society?
Japan's unique decarbonization technologies for areas where the impact of carbon emission is relatively significant will be introduced and discussed in-depth by a diverse range of experts.
How can we accelerate decarbonization and digitalization to create a sustainable future?
We will summarize the current 'state-of-the-world' issues in Japanese/global society, including labor shortages, deteriorating infrastructure and increasing natural disasters, and introduce diverse, innovative approaches to solving these problems.
Innovation exhibition by startup companies and other businesses is planned.
